It’s his first bike, he is enrolled in the motorcycle safety course, and the bike is going to be either a suzuki sv650, or a gsxr 750; between a 2002 and a 2005 with approx. 2500 to 7500 miles and a stock bike…? It will be on a new motorcycleinsurance plan, but added to our current autoinsurance plan.

It depends on where he lives. If it’s Nevada it’ll be cheaper than NY. If it’s liability only or fully comp also makes a big difference.
So, between $60 and $350 a month? It’ll go down dramatically when 25.
Also, prices wildly differ depending who you go with..

I’m 15, about to turn 16 and want to get a motorcycle. i only have a few dirtbikes that aren’t street legal and im thinking about getting a 1993 gsx750r this july for my bday. how much would i expect to pay for the insurance? i live in a rural area so it SHOULD cost less right?

Yeah – it should cost less technically. I would look online – and compare a few insurance places and get a general idea of how much it costs overall and then pick the cheapest one. I would say its very affordable. Being 16 doesnt help but maintain a B average and your payments will be lowered.
I am a 19-year old male who has been riding a motorcycle for about 3 years and took a rider safety course. I was wondering what possible insurance costs would be for a Harley 883 Sportster, probably a 98 or newer (probably nothing newer than a 2005 though). Specifically, I was wondering about American Family Insurance (but any general info would be appreciated too). I am looking to upgrade my bike (along with the size of my engine, ive been driving a 250 for a while now). I beleive american family cant even cover sport bikes for a rider like me, so i was thinking about getting another cruiser/standard style bike. i have kind of been drawn towards Harley, but if insurance is too expensive, ill have to look for something else. Does anyone have any other suggestions for bikes? or general info? thanks
Motorcycle is one of the items that insurance have expanded to take care of in modern times. Many countries make it a compulsory requirement before one can ride a motor bike. In this area, we must admit also that the expansion and patronage has not been as massive as that of car insurance for example. In view of this a lot of people have scanty knowledge on motorcycleinsurance companies. The fact of the matter is that it is increasingly becoming obligatory and therefore any information on it will be very ideal for any motorcycle owner. This should be a guide to you in terms of what factors you would consider when left with the idea of comparing insurance companies for a possible choice for their service.
The first thing you will like to do is to know exactly what your needs are. You will have to remember that every insurance company has a hallmark. This means the insurance companies of your choice should be compared on the bases of whose interest is directly in line with yours. This have the benefit of making you pay a more favorable and affordable premium.
